We look forward to welcoming you to our club but before you go any further, we need to ask you just one little, but very important, question....

Do you have current AOCRA Registration?

The Australian Outrigger Canoe Racing Association (AOCRA) is our National Sporting Body. Paying registration with AOCRA covers you for public liability insurance. This is a separate fee to the club fee. You must be a member of AOCRA before you become a member of Coral Sea OCC.

If you aren't yet registered with AOCRA, please select this link Register with AOCRA Today and then choose, "I am not a member - I want to join". When prompted to choose a club, select Coral Sea Outrigger Canoe Club.

AOCRA Fees are:

Senior Member = $70
Junior Member = $45

Once you've registered with AOCRA, we are good to go!! Select 'New Member' or 'Returning Member' and follow the yellow brick road. You will be issued a Coral Sea OCC invoice for payment, together with an introductory message. The Registrar will let you know if everything is in order and send you a 'Welcome to Coral Sea' Member Handbook and all the information you need to get you on the water!

Coral Sea Outrigger Canoe Club Fees are:

Join between February - July = $220 (Adult Member) - season starts in February
Join between August - October = $110
Join between November - January = $55
Juniors (10 to 19 yrs) = $70
Family Membership = $320 (1 Adult + 2 Juniors OR 2 Adults and 1 Junior)

Age Division Rules

AOCRA caters for mixed gender and same gender competition, depending on the nature of the actual event.
The following is based on AOCRA's Regatta and Training Rules.

Junior Age Divisions	Age Requirement
19 Years and Under	Must not turn 20 in the calendar year of competition
16 Years and Under	Must not turn 17 in the calendar year of competition
14 Years and Under	Must not turn 15 in the calendar year of competition
12 Years and Under	Must not turn 13 in the calendar year of competition
Minnows	Must turn 8 years but not older than 9 years in the calendar year of competition


Adult Age Divisions	Age Requirement
21 and Under	20 to 21 inclusive
Open	All adults - 20 and above
Masters	40 years and above
Senior Masters	50 years and above
Golden Masters	60 years and above
Platinum Masters	70 years and above

Eligibility criteria for juniors wishing to compete in adult events in the Open division	a) 19U division may compete in the Open division without the need for parental or coach's consent.

	b) Junior must be aged 14 years and above and have:

	i) written parental/guardian permission (on appropriate form)

	ii) written approval of qualified outrigger specific coach (on appropriate form)
